Abchurch brews interest in fermentation monitoring technology

Abchurch has won the brief to provide Stratophase (or the “Company”), with a corporate PR programme. Abchurch will look to increase the Company’s presence within the international bioprocess and life sciences media, and UK national press.

Stratophase is a world leader in real-time and in line bioprocess monitoring and fermentation control. Harnessing the different colours in a spectrum of light the Stratophase technology can enable companies to increase yields of fully functional biologics and provide a higher quality and purity of the end product. The technology is robust and is based on optical microchip sensors and fibre optics, offering bio manufacturers great versatility in monitoring small and large scale fermentation.

Adam Michael, Director, Head of Life Sciences at Abchurch, commented: “Current techniques used in biopharmaceutical manufacture result in a significant amount of waste and batch rejection. Stratophase’s in-line process monitoring technology for biopharma manufacture is going to reduce rejected batches and unnecessary waste. The FDA in the USA are actively trying to reduce biopharmaceutical wastage by promoting Process Analytical Technology in biopharmaceuticals so this is a very exciting time to be working in this industry. We very much look forward to working with Bill Campbell and the team at Stratophase.”

Leading the Abchurch account is Adam Michael (Director, Life Sciences) supported by Jamie Hooper (Account Executive) and Marcus Byers (Account Assistant).
